Dutch Law firms join hands for Ukraine with action: Stand firm!

Together with 19 other law firms we have drawn up a statement calling on all law firms in the Netherlands to refuse to carry out transactions that may be aimed at safeguarding the interests of the Russian president, the Russian state, Russian (state) companies or the Russian elite if they do not openly take a stand against the invasion of Ukraine. This way, we want to prevent promoting the interests of those who (indirectly) facilitate the war against Ukraine. It is and has long been DVDW's policy not to act (or not want to act) on behalf of totalitarian regimes and those involved in them.

We cannot remain silent or turn a blind eye and carry on working. Business service providers in both The Netherlands and Europe also have a responsibility in this respect.
